With just one week to go until the start of Cheltenham Festival 2022 and those banker accas down, it is time to sift through the Cheltenham betting lists for those tempting Cheltenham outsiders who could be set to run a big race at decent odds!
We have whittled down a shortlist of horses priced no lower than 20/1 to represent what we think are good Cheltenham 2022 each ways bets!

THE WOLF: The Ultima Handicap Chase, Tuesday 15th March
This Olly Murphy trained 8-year-old has been hitting the crossbar a few times this season. There are a few issues with his jumping and if these can be ironed out, he has an outstanding chance at great odds of 25/1 in The Ultima Handicap Chase on Day 1. (William Hill playing five places).
He is well treated by the handicapper, racing at a mark of only 138 which is winnable. Ran a very creditable second at Cheltenham in January and holds an entry for the Scottish Grand National.
MOLLY OLLYS WISHES: The Mares Hurdle, Tuesday 15th March
This Dan Skelton trained 8-year-old has run well in listed company this season. Slightly outclassed in the Ascot Hurdle but returned to win at the same track in a listed mare’s event.
Her last run at Haydock can be put down to unsuitably testing ground. However, she remains unexposed at Cheltenham and looks good each way value in a fairly open Mares Hurdle at 25/1 with bet365.

WHATDEAWANT: The Ballymore Novices Hurdle, Wednesday 16th March
He is very much the forgotten horse of the Willie Mullins Cheltenham team, Whatdeawant will likely be a lot lower than the 25/1 (bet365) currently on offer.
The market for the Ballymore is very abstract now with the likes of Sir Gerhard, Dysart Dynamo and Constitution Hill arguably more tilted towards the Supreme Novices option.
This will leave the highly rated Ginto as the likely favourite meaning Whatdewant’s form is very eye catching indeed. Whatdewant was eight ½ lengths behind Ginto in his last outing in January although back form is better as Whatdeawant actually beat Ginto in a bumper last year.
DAME DE COMPAGNE: The Coral Cup, Wednesday 16th March
Weight wise, Dame De Compagne is running 1ib lower than when winning The Coral Cup back in 2020. She has had a tough time over fences in a stuttering novice chasing career and back to hurdles over decent ground on a familiar course and distance could revitalise her career.
Each way claims at 20/1 with William Hill and Betfred paying five places.
DANCING ON MY OWN: The Grand Annual, Wednesday 16th March
This Henry De Bromhead trained 8-year-old comes into this on a decent win over current second favourite Buddy Rich in a beginner’s novice chase last October.
He has not quite sparkled since, but Henry De Bromhead will have him primed for this. Trading at 14/1 with most firms but available with bet365 at 20/1 with NRNB and best odds guaranteed making him a safe and sound each way proposition.
GRINGO D’AUBRELLE: The County Hurdle, Friday 18th March
If Dysart Dynamo absolutely hacks up in whichever race he ends up in (most likely The Supreme Novices) then the form of this Gordon Elliot trained 6-year-old gets a little boost for The County Hurdle based on his nineteen lengths second behind Dysart in a January novice hurdle listed event at Punchestown.
Consistent all season and good value each way at 25/1 (bet365).
