If you would have told United and City fans the results of this season so far about ten years ago, both would have laughed in your face. City were patchy and up and down more times than a septuagenarian to the toilet, while United were top-dogs year-in, year-out.
But times change, and City are the dominant force this season, with United in a season of 'transition'. United have picked up a good couple of results in their last two games, but this match is a whole different ball-game altogether...

Yeah, we can't really see past a City win for this one. United, despite their last two wins, have been largely mediocre this season, while City have been largely... rampant. City are 6/5 for the win with Paddy Power, while United are out at 23/10 with Stan James. The draw is 13/5, this time with Ladbrokes.
We like the look of a City win by two or three goals in this one... Given United's recent okay-ish form, we'll go for the two goal Winning Margin bet. City by two goals is a healthy 6/1 with BetVictor.
The Beast should get back to scoring ways
Alvaro Negredo hasn't been on the scoresheet recently, but against a United team with a shaky back-four. we fancy he could grab a goal on Tuesday night. The huge Spaniard is 7/4 with Betfred to notch against United, a very fair price indeed.
Both teams to score also looks like a good shout: while the odds aren't too good on just a BTTS bet, you can find BTTS and City to win at a very tempting 11/4 with Coral.
