Tottenham Vs Everton
Sunday 9th February 2014: 1:30pm
Both these sides have their sights set firmly on fourth place this year, but they will have to overhaul current occupiers Liverpool to get there, who are on a fantastic run of form.
A win for either side would be a great result, although we can't help feeling this season has a few surprises to throw at us yet...
Spurs back on track
After the humbling against Manchester City and a listless draw against Hull, we fancy Spurs to crack on again and beat the Toffees on their home turf. Sherwood's team are 23/20 with William Hill to take all three points on Sunday, while Everton are 11/4 with Ladbrokes. The draw is a tempting 5/2 with Bet365.
A 2-1 Spurs win looks good with BetVictor: they have that at a very nice 17/2. If you fancy the margin, but not the scoreline, the narrow Spurs win by one goal is available at 3/1 with SkyBet, but the odds are shortening.
Soldado to shine?
He has to come good soon. He has to get a goal soon. Surely! Spurs' fox in the box Spaniard has been woeful of late, but a player of his ability should find the net sooner or later. We have a feeling it could be against Everton, and he is 2/1 with Paddy Power to do that.
Kevin Mirallas has been in decent form recently, and could be a good shout to grab the first goal with Boylesports. He is 8/1 on for First Goalscorer.
Manchester United Vs Fulham
Sunday 9th February 2014: 4pm
Finally, Manchester United have a game that they can't lose! Surely? Fulham have been so woeful this season that the Reds are sure to get a morale boosting home-win against Rene Meulensteen's hapless charges.
That's what we're going for anyway. Any other result is an act of God. A Fulham-supporting God.
Three-points to United
Like we said, this result HAS to be a home win for United. They are massive favourites, at 3/16 with Unibet. The draw is 11/2 with Betfred, while Fulham are a whopping 20/1 with William Hill to get the three points. Talk about outsiders.
We quite like the look of the handicap bet United at -2, which is 13/10 with Bet365. Basically, United have to win by three or more to win the bet. They win by two, and you get your money back. They win by one, you get nothing. Not a bad shout.
What's the Mata, Fulham?
Boylesports' offer of 11/8 on Juan Mata for Anytime Assist is too good to pass up, so get on it quickly. Meanwhile, for goalscorers, Robin van Persie is 11/4 with Coral to get the first goal of the game. With him and Rooney fit again, we fancy the Dutchman ahead of the Englishman to open the scoring.
