Did you know?
Ladbokres has over 2,000 high street shops in the UK and between 1996 and 2006 was called the Hilton Group PLC as it was owned by the Hilton Hotel chain. In 2009 Ladbrokes had to pull a TV advert after the advertising watchdog ruled it broke guidelines. The casino advert with the slogan “if only he’d seen Ladborkes Casino it would have quenched his thrill buds” showed a diver jumping into shark infested waters dressed as a seal!
