We check out best Cheltenham Festival 2025 antepost bets and top Cheltenham Festival 2025 odds provided by our partner firms: bet365, William Hill, Bet Victor, Betfred and Boylesports.
Non-Runner No Bet
William Hill was fast off the blocks last week. They are the first firm to offer Non-Runner No Bet on all Cheltenham Festival 2025 races. Bet365 also offering NRNB.
What is Non-Runner No Bet?
Antepost betting often offers lucrative odds but at an enormous risk as stakes are not returned if the horse does not participate in the race. Non Runner No Bet means that if a bet is placed on a particular race, stakes will be returned in the event that the horse is declared as a non-runner.
The Supreme Novices Hurdle Day 1
Bet Victor are offering 4 places for each way antepost bets in this race.
Fairly open contest at this stage. Salvatore Mundi leads the market (7/2 Betfred and Boylesports) but more due to being a Willie Mullins trained horse than anything else.
His workmanlike win in his only outing this season in The Sky Bet Club Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle last week, doesn’t inspire great confidence. Romeo Coolio looked impressive in a Grade One event at Leopardstown and likely to improve for that run.
Will be out again for the Leopardstown meeting next month. Best priced 6/1 with William Hill NRNB.
SELECTION: ROMEO COOLIO WIN
The Arkle Day 1
The brilliant Sir Gino has now gone odds on (4/5 best Betfred) and looks to be the first in a potential big double for trainer Nicky Henderson on the day. Majborough should chase him home but poor value at 100/30 best with bet365.
Far better each way value to be had on Ile Atlantique (10/1 best with bet365) who shaped up well in a Grade 2 at Naas recently. Will improve for that.
SELECTION: SIR GINO WIN
The Turner Novices Hurdle Day 2
It is all about The New Lion. Travels strongly, bags of pace and has improved all season for the Skeltons most noticeably in the Grade One Challow Hurdle. Now with the JP McManus ownership team, it is difficult to see who will get near him in this championship race. 2/1 best with William Hill NRNB.
The each way value lies with the Willie Mullins trained Kawaboomga who looked like he had more in hand in a 2-mile maiden hurdle recently at Fairyhouse. 14/1 best with bet365.
SELECTION: THE NEW LION WIN
Brown Advisory Novices Chase Day 2
Very open contest and despite the lower average number of entries, this should be an exciting betting heat. Ballyburn is a fragile favourite considering the nature of his battering from Sir Gino in the Wayward Lad Novices Chase at Kempton. 7/2 best with bet365, Bet Victor and Boylesports.
Main rival to Ballyburn, The Jukebox Man, has been far more impressive (5/1 bet365). However, Impaire Et Passe could be the each way value at 12/1 with Betfred and Boylesports.
SELECTION: IMPAIRE ET PASSE EACH WAY
Mares Novices Hurdle Day 3
Hugely open affair with plenty vying for favouritism. Maughreen (3/1 William Hill NRNB) could be something special and more will be known after her main prep run at Punchestown on Monday.
The Gavin Cromwell trained Sixandahalf (4/1 William Hill NRNB) also looked useful on her 12 length win at Fairyhouse a couple of weeks ago. However, the value may lie with Kientzheim who was very impressive for trainer Nicky Henderson on Boxing Day at Kempton. 14/1 best with bet365.
SELECTION: KIENTZHEIM EACH WAY
Triumph Hurdle Day 4
Nicky Henderson could potentially have his best Cheltenham Festival for some years. Lulamba looks a smart juvenile hurdler and justifies favouritism at 7/5 (Betfred) or 5/4 William Hill NRNB. Seven Barrows have done well with their French imports, and this looks another star in the making.
However, there is stiff opposition from East India Dock who impressed on another emphatic course and distance win. The James Owen trained juvenile is best priced at 7/2 with bet365.
SELECTION: EAST INDIA DOCK WIN
The Albert Novices Hurdle Day 4
Another very open looking contest. Current race favourite The Yellow Flag (4/1 William Hill NRNB) trained by Gordon Elliot is deservedly in that position thanks to an eye-catching win in Grade 1 company at Naas recently.
However, Final Demand was very impressive in a much lower grade race at Limerick over Christmas, winning in a canter. Plenty more to come from that Mullins trained entry priced at 6/1 William Hill NRNB.
SELETION: FINAL DEMAND WIN
